In an action for podiatric malpractice and lack of informed consent, it was alleged that Gallardo Levin Reiter & Rogers‘ client, a podiatrist, was negligent in indicating and performing an endoscopic plantar fasciotomy and was negligent in providing post-procedure care. It was claimed that the mismanagement led to subsequent surgeries and chronic pain. Gallardo Levin Reiter & Rogers made a motion for summary judgment demonstrating the podiatrist’s compliance with the standards of care in treating the plaintiff and the Court dismissed all claims against our podiatrist. The case was handled by Gallardo Levin Reiter & Rogers Partner Michele R. Levin and Associate Jenna Fierstein.
