Gallardo Levin Reiter & Rogers‘ expert established that the extraction of 23 teeth was appropriate and would have been required for the treatment plan offered to plaintiff and to achieve the aesthetics desired; that the number of implants included in the treatment plan was appropriate and was the standard of care for the retention of the type of removable dentures selected by the plaintiff; and that the possibility of the retention of small fragments of root or bone being left in the jaw that may need to be removed later is a known and accepted risk and that plaintiff was appropriately advised of those risks in advance and accepted them.
