Since entering private practice in 1993, he has concentrated in insurance liability defense and complex civil litigation.

  • Professional liability
  • Municipal liability and civil rights defense
  • Labor Law and catastrophic injury claims
  • Nursing home and healthcare liability

He has successfully argued and prevailed on appeals in multiple liability disciplines, reinforcing trial outcomes and protecting carrier positions at the appellate level.

Beyond the courtroom, Mr. Gallardo is a former charter member of the Board of Directors of Virtual Radiologic Corp., a national teleradiology provider. He regularly conducts loss-prevention and liability seminars for insureds and professionals, helping clients reduce future exposure while defending current claims.

Mr. Gallardo is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the Professional Liability Underwriting Society.

Mr. Gallardo approaches every file with a trial-ready mindset from day one. He conducts early liability and damages assessments designed to:
